Compute misfit and adjoint source on normalized data.

Parameters
  • data_synthetic numpy.ndarray — synthetic waveforms.
  • data_observed numpy.ndarray — observed waveforms.
  • sampling_rate_in_hertz float — Sampling rate.
  • misfit_function Callable — Callback function of actual misfit function.
  • extra_kwargs_misfit_function Optional[Dict] — Extra arguments passed to the misfit function.
  • normalization Optional[salvus.opt.data_normalizations.TraceNormalization] — Optional data normalization.
Returns Tuple[float, numpy.ndarray[Any, numpy.dtype[+_ScalarType_co]]] — tuple of misfit value and adjoint source
