`salvus.mesh.layered_meshing.serialization.write_to_h5`

Functionality to write layered models and meshing protocols to HDF5 files.

    model: Material | LayeredModel | MeshingProtocol,
) -> None: ...

Serialize a model, material or meshing protocol to disk.

Internally it will always convert the input to a meshing protocol and the data stored in the file will be suitable for the mesh_from_domain() function.

Parameters

filename pathlib.Path | str — Filename to serialize to.
model Material | LayeredModel | MeshingProtocol — Meshing protocol, layered model, or material to serialize.

Returns None — Nothing.
